Job Overview:
Mid-level opportunity for Project Manager interested in managing Phase I and II environmental assessments and investigations. If successful candidate is driven to manage personnel and a small department, opportunity exists to assume these responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Phase I ESAs: Review and finalize reports. Manage junior staff preparing Ph Is.
- Phase IIs: Implement site investigation plans.
- Site Remediation: Work with Sr. PMs to implement cleanup plans.
- Asbestos, Mold, Indoor Air Quality: Direct work of junior staff. Monitor budgets and finalize reports.
- Write: Consolidate field/analytical data, apply regulatory standards, prepare figures/tables, write executive summaries, and prepare reports for non-technical clientele.
- Project Management: Manage project scopes of work, budgets, and deliverables, ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Direct work of junior staff, assist senior managers.
- Client Communication: Keep stakeholders informed.
- Liaison with PADEP: Interact with, hold meetings, and respond to comments.
Qualifications:
- Education: B.S. in Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Science. Professional accreditation preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years in environmental consulting, focused on site assessment and remediation.
- Budget Management: History of managing budgets and schedules.
- Skill Set:
- Strong technical and diagnostic thinking skills.
- High-quality writing.
- Experience working with regulatory bodies.
- Proficient with modeling software and GIS tools preferred.
